So, You want to know more about Lyn?

Hmmm…what to say about myself? Jef seems to think it's a good idea we have profiles in here so I'll give it try…
I'm an extraordinary person living an ordinary life. But aren't we all? I go to quite the few movies during the year, on average about 45 or so. Which by no means gives me reason to think I should be a critic. But, then again, we all are. We go to the movies, and discussions will come in regard to them, and people will ask, "What did you think?" There's the spotlight, our chance to tell others what we think. Good or bad, it makes no difference. It's what you think of the movie that is important. Others may disagree with you, but that is their right. I don't profess to be an authority on movies, but I'm just a person who loves going to see them. I love the whole experience from the theater to the Rasinets® and everything else in between.
So what does qualify me to be a critic? Nothing. I'm just over-opinionated and have a website…that's all. But, I will tell you, my reviews are nothing but honest, and I will not give away any of the story, too many others already do so. It's just an overall opinion, good or bad. I don't get paid for this, and I'm glad I don't. I think if I were to go to a movie because I had to review it, I wouldn't. I go cause I want to see that movie, and bypass the ones I don't. If it was a paycheck, I think I would become jaded and lose the reason why I go and the purity of it. I love movies. Period.
If you disagree with my review, by all means do. Write me, let me know, but I'm not going to get into a battle cause you liked the film and I didn't. Just cause you like bad movies, doesn't mean anything to me… just kidding.
But, just to let you know where I'm coming from I will include a list of my favorite movies (or at least the top five) in their respective genre. I don't whole-heartedly think that I can, because it's like trying to pick a favorite grain of sand at the beach. But here goes anyway, and in no particular order (except alphabetical)… Please keep in mind these may change at any time. Drum roll please...
