Wow…when was this movie gonna end? Actually I look forward
to reviews like this. They're very brief. : ) First things first and out
of the way, I like John Leguizamo, always have, always will. I feel he's
a very talented actor. And next right to the blunt…this movie was
horrible. Sorry, but I feel Franc Reyes failed miserably in his first
attempt in the Director/Writer role (I never saw him in 1984's "Beat
Street", so I cannot comment on his acting (or dancing) abilities).
I just didn't get it. The movie was pointless and predictable, and I hoped
in vein that it might get better. But of course it did not. But I have
to admit I was happy to see the demise of Denise Richard's character.
(Side note: has she ever been in a movie where her character hasn't died?
: ) And finally, all I got out of this movie was Mr. Mackey's (from South
Park) voice ringing in my head "Umm Drugs are bhad, okay?".
That's it… end of story. I don't even want to talk about this film
anymore. It would truly be a waste of both yours and my time. So…
