It’s kinda hard to sum up the storyline on this as the more I think about it, it’s a combination of about 2-3 storylines, therefore it didn’t work for me as there were a lot of holes.  A respected psychiatrist has a vision driving home from work.  She wakes up to find herself in the same position as her clients, behind bars. The movie tries to explain her visions and solve a murder mystery.

Pete Graham (Robert Downey Jr) plays Miranda’s (Halle Berry) psychiatrist co-worker and friend. From the get-go, you get a feeling that Pete is not everything he says he is. The first thing I couldn’t understand about this movie is why would someone who is so respected in the psych field by her co-workers be so quickly dismissed as a “patient” after a horrific murder that happened a few days before that is leading to Miranda being the guilty party. Would anyone dismiss a close friend/colleague so quickly before reviewing the evidence or discussing it with them first??

It’s a mix of the supernatural, plain old serial killing and predictability. None of it belongs in the same movie. It’s like they went through several different writers at different stages of the movie and none of them read what had happened so far. Sorry, I wanted to like this, but no can do.
