This may be kind of harsh, but I could not stand this film. It was long-winded, unimaginative, and I was battling to stay awake. I unfortunately found myself expecting the same magic that I had joyfully received in the first film. Which of course was new, refreshing, and an interesting little roller coaster ride. But, this movie in comparison was the exact opposite. I kept longing for the time that Harry would find the stupid chamber, so I could get up, leave, and then start regretting the fact that that was two and a half hours of my life I'll never get back. But, of course I had to wait to see what deadly secrets this chamber held. A big snake! Ooooo…Scary…Yawn! Lastly, I have to keep in mind that I have not read any of the books from the Harry Potter series, and my judgment may be considered too severe, but life ain't pretty all the time, and neither was this movie.

PS - Most importantly: A very sad and fond farewell to actor Richard Harris…God speed Sir Richard, and thank you for all you have given us…

Here's What JEF thought...
