Okay…get out the big mixing bowl, start with a basic stock of "Rambo", add a dash of "The Fugitive", and a pinch of the knife fight from "Under Siege", and what do you get? Well, "The Hunted" of course.
There's not much else I can say about this movie, I mean Benicio Del Toro's character snaps after one too many special ops missions. No doubt. After what happens in the first ten minutes of the film who'd blame him? Not me. For a second there I thought I was watching a different version of "Tears of the Sun". Same senseless violence…ergo…
Anyway, it was all just a miss-mash of the before mentioned movies, and nothing too original. Although the scenery was extraordinarily beautiful, and it was difficult to believe that there are places like that in the United States. Being from the Northeast, we don't get much of the lush green forest and picturesque waterfall kind of stuff here. But if you want concrete and skyscrapers, well we got plenty a dat. : )
I had originally thought to give this movie a Yellow Light, but upon deeper pondering, I changed it to a Red. It moved along well, but only keeping ones interest shouldn't warrant anything other than what it deserves…Sorry.

Here's what Jef thought...
