I’ve been wondering about
the character “Merovingian”, and thinking to myself where
have I heard this name before? Well, I’ve been reading a new book
called “The Da Vinci Code”, and they talk about Merovingian.
I’m not fully sure I understand exactly who the Merovingians were,
as my history is not the best. But, they are a people, or a line of kings,
that have tie ins to the whole “Holy Grail” conspiracy. There
is no way that I can go into this conspiracy here in detail, but I’ll
try to give the basic idea. The Holy Grail is thought to be the final
cup that Jesus drank from at the Last Supper. There are many legends,
and myths regarding this famous cup. King Author, Raiders of the Lost
Ark, just to name two. But, there is a well documented case to make that
in fact, the “Holy Grail” as what most people know it by is
not entirely true, but rather a well guarded ‘secret’ that
will shatter some beliefs of one of the worlds largest religions –
Christianity. Briefly, it says, that Mary Magdeline was not just some
“hooker” but was actually Jesus’ wife. And that SHE
is what is considered the “Holy Grail”. At the time of Jesus’
crucifixion, Mary escaped, and fled to France (or what’s now known
as France today), and… here’s the kicker… she was pregnant
with the child of Jesus. And that another translation for “Holy
Grail” is “Royal Bloodline”. Now, before you start up
your email program to yell at me for posting such a thing, I’m not
saying I believe this. There is so much conspiracy, and half-truths, and
non-documented ‘facts’ that surround this story that makes
it sound outlandish. But… there are some documents, and stories
that make you say “Hmm”. For a starting place to learn more

Anyway, The Matrix tie-ins are strong here with this story. Through out
time, there have been many famous artists, who have tried to relay this
story through hidden, and not so hidden ways. For example, Leonardo Da
Vinci, painted his famous painting “The Last supper”, and
instead of painting Jesus’ 12 diciples, if you look closely, the
person sitting next to Jesus, (On His right hand side), is in fact a woman.
Many believe this to be Mary. Also, the way the bodies are arranged, they
form a large “M” shape. I think the Wachowski brothers have
added their names now to the list of growing artists for trying to put
this message into their art or this film. Inside of the big fight scene
among the Vampires, (Which I did not pick up from the movie, but from
the video game), the sort of circular room with a large mural painted
on the wall… there is a large “M” plain as day. This
could be the symbol for “Merovingian” but it also could be
the symbol for “Mary”. In keeping with the Holy Grail myth,
we see Neo and Trinity having intimate relations in the Matrix Reloaded…
It won’t surprise me in the least, that in the final installment
of the Revolutions, we learn, that Trinity is pregnant with Neo’s
child. One final note of tie-in here… There is a group of people
that many call a “Secret Society” that have been placed in
charge of keeping this all a secret or safe. Their order is called “THE
PRIEURÉ DE SION” or the Priory
of Sion. Hmm, what’s the name of the ‘underground’
city where Neo and Trinity live? That’s right… Zion.
I’m not saying all this is true, and I’m not suggesting this
movie is all about this conspiracy, but with some of these items coming
to light, I think this may be more than just coincidence.
