Nutshell: A new millennium version of yet another popular 70's television series of the very same name...Go figure.
Anyway, I'm going to make this short and sweet. I was a fan as a kid of the original show, but you know I was a kid and just about everything on TV was entertaining and cool. But to look back at those shows, and compare them to what's on the tube today, there really isn't much comparison. But I'm not here to relive my childhood. I went to see this film because it had a great cast, and with that factor in mind, I thought it would be hilarious, or at least funny.
I think I got like four or five of those laughs that aren't really laughs but are more like little tiny coughs where you're not really coughing. More like the beginning of a cough, but you don't...Know what I mean? Well, it doesn't matter, cause let's just say the film wasn't funny and leave it at that.
It was simply a waste of talent and more importantly, my time and money. And I implore you not to spend either, and just avoid this film. Thanks.

P.S. Just a little FYI...the director of this movie was Todd Phillips, and Todd will be giving us the big screen version of the "Six Million Dollar Man" in 2005. So you might want to jot that down in your scheduler, so on opening night, a pop-up reminder come on and tells you... "Don't forget that Starsky & Hutch SUCKED" and then perhaps you'll spare yourself from seeing yet another little gem from the "Lack of any New or Original Department" at the Hollywood Recycling Mill.
Here's what Jef thought...
